You’re Not Behind: Why AI Is Actually Perfect for People Over 60
If you’re a person over 60 who has been wondering whether it’s too late to learn AI, I need you to read this before you do anything else: you are not behind. AI for people over 60 is important to learn and you are not behind.
You are not too late. You are not too old. And honestly? You might be more ready for this than you think.
I know that’s not what the internet has been telling you. Most AI content out there is built for 28-year-olds talking about productivity hacks and startup culture. It has nothing to do with your life. And if you’ve looked around and felt like the whole conversation was happening without you, that’s why I built this channel.
Second Act with AI is for people like us. No jargon, no rushing, no talking down. Just a woman who got there a little sooner, sitting next to you, showing you what she found.
How I Got Here: AI for People over 60 (And Why It Changed Everything)
About three and a half years ago, I sat down with an AI tool for the first time. And something happened that I didn’t expect.
It talked to me. Not like a search engine. Not like a robot. Like a really smart, really patient collaborator who was genuinely interested in helping me figure things out.
I’d spent most of my career building things for other people. Websites, brands, digital projects. I was good at it. But I always had my own ideas, things I wanted to create, and I could never quite get there. I didn’t have the budget. I didn’t have the team. Or at least, I didn’t think I did.
AI changed that. I could write things I couldn’t write before. Research in minutes what used to take me days. Build actual apps without knowing how to code. Create a character of myself using AI image tools (her name is K2, and she shows up all over this channel).
AI didn’t make me smarter. It showed me I already was. And that’s what I want for you. AI for people over 60 deserves to be taught.
Here’s the Part Nobody Else Is Telling People Over 60
Here’s what nobody in the AI world is saying about people over 60.
AI for people over 60 is actually an advantage.
I know that sounds like something I’m just saying to make you feel better. It’s not. Here’s what’s actually true.
AI is a tool. And like any tool, it’s only as good as the person using it. What makes someone good at using AI? Not technical skills. Not coding. Not a computer science degree.
It’s wisdom. Life experience. Knowing what questions to ask. Having the discernment to look at something and say, “that’s not quite right,” or “that’s exactly what I needed.”
You’ve been building that skill for 60 years.
You know how to read a room. You know how to read people. You know what feels true and what feels off. That is the most important skill in working with AI, and you already have it.
The 28-year-old can type faster than you. I’ll give him that. But you can think deeper than he can. You have context he doesn’t have. Life experience that makes your AI conversations richer, more nuanced, and honestly more useful.
So when you hear that little voice that says “I’m too old for this,” I want you to know: that voice is wrong. You’re not too old. You’re seasoned. And that’s a superpower.
What We’re Going to Do Here Together
This channel is built around three things.
Learn It. Step-by-step AI tutorials for real life. Not corporate life, not startup life. Your life. Your health questions, your family projects, your travel plans, your creative ideas. On my screen, in plain English, at your pace.
Build It. Once you get comfortable, I’ll show you how to build things. Apps, projects, maybe even a side hustle. Things you didn’t think were possible for someone like you. Spoiler: they’re very possible.
The Human Side. This is the stuff no other AI channel talks about. How do you stay yourself in an AI world? How do you use your intuition alongside this technology? What can AI never replace in you? These conversations matter to me. I think they matter to you too.
New videos every week. Practical, warm, no overwhelm. You go at your pace. I’m not going anywhere.
Your First Step: Find the Right AI Tool for You
Before anything else, take two minutes and find out which AI tool is the right fit for you specifically. I built a free quiz for this. It’s called the AI Tool Navigator, and it matches you to the right tool based on how you think and what you actually need.

No email required to start. No technical knowledge needed. Just a few simple questions and a clear recommendation.
What’s Coming Next
Next week I’m answering the question everybody’s really asking: what even is artificial intelligence? I’ll explain it in a way that actually makes sense. No jargon, no scary stuff. Just clarity.
If anything in this video made you feel something, even a small spark of “maybe I could do this,” subscribe. You’re going to want to be here for what’s coming.
It’s never too late. You are not too old. You are right on time. And I’m going to spend this entire channel showing you why.
Alright, my friends. Take care. Bye bye.
